All DFW area women are invited to the Fibroid Free booth at the Dallas/Fort Worth Ultimate Women’s Expo, located in the Irving Convention Center this weekend, Saturday 9/9/2017 from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 9/10/2017 from 11 am – 5 pm.
Please visit Dr. Suzanne Slonim, a uterine fibroid embolization specialist with Precision VIR, in the Fibroid Free booth #705. She will be happy to answer questions about uterine fibroid symptoms, treatment options, and fibroid issues overall.
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the uterus, or womb. They may grow slowly or quickly, or they may simply stay the same size. However, if they get too large, they may start causing the painful and life-altering symptoms such as: heavier-than-usual menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain or pressure, need to urinate more often, pain during or after intercourse, back or leg pain.
As many as 3 out of 4 women will develop fibroids during their lifetimes. Most are unaware they have fibroids. Sometimes, doctors will accidentally discover fibroids during a routine pelvic or pregnancy exam, and then refer patients to a specialist, such as Dr. Suzanne Slonim, to have the fibroids treated.
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) is a state-of-the-art procedure is performed by the specialists at Precision VIR. This non-surgical procedure is done while patients are sedated, through a puncture the size of a grain of rice. Recovery time is just one week. Women who have the procedure get back to their lives quickly and with less pain. Since there is no incision, it heals with almost no scarring.
The Fibroid Free booth will offer a very exiting raffle! Women will be able to sign up for a drawing to win a bottle of champagne. The drawing will be Sunday afternoon. You do not have to be present to win.
Join other DFW women who want to become or have become Fibroid Free with the help of Dr. Suzanne Slonim!
